Intention is Everything

In sitting down to write this piece, my intention is that you, the reader, upon completion of it will have an “ah ha” moment that will leave you feeling empowered and in a position to move closer to your goals at a faster rate than you ever imagined.

By implementing what I am about to tell you, it will seem so simple, almost too simple, but my promise to you is that you will start to see things shift in your life so quickly that you will begin to wonder how you never used this magical tool before.

This simple step is to set your Intention. Not once or twice a day, but throughout your day at various intervals. And in doing so, by the Law of Attraction, you will begin to live the life that you want.

How can it be that simple you may ask?

When you set an intention and then act upon it to demonstrate your commitment, something magical occurs. The Universe begins to put people and circumstances within your reality that support the intention you set.

Remember, it is our thoughts that become the physical things in our lives, and by deliberately setting our intention as we embark on various activities or periods of time throughout our day we will begin to create days filled with the events and circumstances that we desire.

 

Set your intention every single day

Set your intention every single day and for every action you endeavour to take. By doing so, the world around you will change so quickly you’ll wonder how this simple step remains a secret to so many people.

You may ask why it is important to set your intention so many times during the day. I can tell you that when people first learn about the Law of Attraction they often don’t know what they want. They fear that if they limit themselves to asking for only a few things they may miss out on what they could really have.

Then they begin to gather all of the things they want and their mind gets crowded with these thoughts. However, when you are wanting to consider so many things and when you try to consider them all at the same time, you try to bring forth so many subjects and by Law of Attraction you become overwhelmed and confused.

The value of setting your intention during various intervals of your day is that you will not attempt to process so much at one time. You simply put forward what it is you want right now, in this moment and you will begin to attract that to you. Then these intentions that you put forward prior to taking specific actions or daily tasks, will begin to accumulate, build on each other and gain momentum. This will begin to move you forward and create the events and circumstances in your life that you have given intended thought to.

Also, it is important to understand that what you are experiencing today, is a result of your thoughts of yesterday, or last week, or last month. Every thought you think is directed towards what occurs in your future and by deliberately focusing on the thoughts that feel good and are with intention, you will be creating your future on purpose rather than leaving it to chance. As you are wanting and expecting to receive the subject of your intent, it will be.

Another useful step is to see yourself as a magnet attracting to you the way you feel at any point in time. When you feel happy you will attract events to you that create happiness. When you feel healthy, you will attract health. When you feel prosperous, you will attract circumstances of prosperity. When you feel loved, you will attract conditions of love. Literally the way you feel is your point of attraction.

So pause many times throughout your day and repeat “This is what I want from this experience in my life. I want it and I expect it.” As you set forth those powerful words, you attract into your experience what you want.

In the beginning, it is a good idea to carry a small notebook with you where you write down your intention for the upcoming event or situation in your life. This will help to solidify your intention and ensure that is where your thoughts and your focus are. Eventually, the setting of intention prior to every circumstance will become so automatic for you that the notebook will no longer be necessary.

Every circumstance, event and object comes to you only by your invitation by thought. So if you are taking time many times in the day to identify what it is you want and to set forth your statement of desire and expectation, you have so much control over the power of magnetic attraction. No more will you be the victim.

Once you begin to identify many time during the day what you are wanting, you are now an intentional creator of your life and will experience only things that bring you great joy.

 

Four steps to setting intention:

  1. Determine what your intention is
  2. Say “Here is what I intend from this experience in my life. I want this and I expect it.”
  3. Write it down
  4. Take immediate action towards your intention
